Project History

The project ironically started on April 1st, 2004. In the beginning I had no experience in plaster molding, fiberglass production, or artistry. The only experience I had under my belt was my prior work with retro cars. I had been working on retro cars since I was 15 years old, about 16-17 years now. I mostly dealt with restoration of old vehicles, so I had a fair idea of what I was doing. That and I actually have an automotive major, so I know my way around a car, technically speaking. Now all that was left was to get the plaster molding, fiberglass, and artistic skills down. I estimated that it would take me about an year and a half to complete the project. Unfortunately that estimate fell short due to financial and time constraints. In the end it took two and a half years to complete the project, but all in all it was worth it. It ended up being over 3500 hours which covered creation of the prototype and manufacturing preparations.
